Ja MORANT of the Memphis Grizzlies has opted for a change in representation, selecting Mike Miller’s Lift Sports Management as his new agency

The Memphis Grizzlies’ standout, Ja Morant, has made a significant change in representation, opting for Lift Sports Management, led by former NBA player Mike Miller.

The announcement came Thursday morning, following Morant’s recent split from Jim Tanner. The news was shared via a video posted by Lift on social media, which Morant retweeted from his own account.

Miller is a familiar figure in Memphis, having played for the Grizzlies in two separate stints during his 18-year NBA career. Following retirement, he transitioned to coaching, serving as an assistant under Penny Hardaway at Memphis and later becoming head coach at Houston High School before entering the sports agent field.

Meanwhile, Morant’s recent season with the Grizzlies was marked by challenges. He faced a 25-game suspension at the beginning of the 2023-24 season due to conduct detrimental to the league. Upon his return in December, he played just nine games before a shoulder injury prematurely ended his season. However, he is anticipated to fully recover in time for the start of the 2024-25 season.
