Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti confirmed after the 4-0 win at Granada that he does not think striker Kylian Mbappe will leave PSG at this time.

After officially clinching their 36th La Liga title early last week, Carlo Ancelotti’s team continued to show great determination against Granada. Fran Garcia opened the scoring for the away side in the 38th minute, and summer signing Arda Guler doubled the lead just before halftime.

Brahim Diaz completed a brace in the second half, helping the reigning Spanish champions secure all three points. Following this victory, coach Ancelotti was asked about Mbappe, who announced earlier in the week that he would leave PSG at the end of the season, with Real Madrid being a likely destination.

However, the Real Madrid manager responded that he has more important matters to focus on than any individual: “Will Kylian Mbappe arrive? I don’t think about that individual topic at the moment. Real Madrid have more important things to do, and I swear I don’t know anything about Mbappe’s situation.”

Real Madrid’s coach Ancelotti is not interested in Mbappe moving to the Bernabeu.

Los Blancos have long pursued Mbappe and are prepared to sign him on a free transfer this summer. However, neither the French forward nor his representatives have mentioned Real Madrid as his next destination. It was Kylian Mbappe himself who informed PSG fans on May 10th of his departure from the club, one day after the Ligue 1 champions faced Toulouse at home.

In a social media video, the winner of the 2018 FIFA World Cup confirmed that this would be his last season with the French giants. Mbappe emphasized that he would not stay in Paris after this summer: “I always said I would talk to you at this moment. Well, it’s time for me to speak. I want to tell you that this is my last year at Paris Saint-Germain. I have decided not to extend my contract, which ends this summer. I would like to thank the club for giving me everything I have had here since I arrived as a young boy. It is very emotional for me to think about leaving. I have spent seven years here, and I think it’s time to have a new challenge.”

French star Mbappe has officially said goodbye to PSG.

Mbappe reminisced, “PSG is a team that never leaves any player indifferent. I have no regrets at any moment for signing with this reputable club. This is a team that I will remember for life. I won’t be a player here anymore, but I will still watch every PSG match.

Kylian Mbappe has a busy summer ahead, with the European Championship in Germany and the Olympic Games in Paris, where he plans to participate. Currently, neither the French star Mbappe nor his expected destination, Real Madrid, has made any official statements about their collaboration from the upcoming season.
