Chelsea has reached an agreement to part ways with its first player this summer, even though the 2023-2024 campaign has not yet ended.
At last summer’s market, Chelsea accepted Hakim Ziyech to loan Galatasaray. The Moroccan detonator joined the Turkish club under a contract valid until the end of the 2023-2024 season.
Ziyech made an impression in his new team with 8 goals and 4 assists in all competitions, despite being absent in the middle of the season due to attending AFCON and an ankle injury.
Scoring points with Galatasaray, the 31-year-old star successfully convinced the Super Lig club to retain him long-term. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that “The Blues” has just sent a letter confirming the agreement allowing the partner to buy Ziyech outright.
The former Ajax pillar landed at Stamford Bridge in 2020, in a deal worth £34 million. Ziyech won the European Cup, FIFA Club World Cup and European Super Cup with Chelsea, but was disgraced by coach Graham Potter .
